The Avalon

Named after the mythical island of the King Author story, The Avalon London is a gorgeous garden, which also happens to be a family friendly pub featuring a simply-stellar food and drink menu. The Avalon is owned by three local gentlemen: Nick Fox, Tom Peaks, and Mark Reynolds and host functions and events, and has a full dining room with yellow and green hues and traditional furniture. The Avalon has six menus which includes a lunch menu, dinner menu, dessert menu, Sunday menu, party menu, and bar menu. They have a special selection of Mediterranean Cuisine, which is usually served in their beautiful rear garden. Their lunch menu include selections like Grilled Argentinean Sausage with Escalivada Chimichurri Salsa, Avalon Beer Burgers with French Fries, Feta Baby Spinach with Pea Mint and Lemon Salad, Smoked Salmon with Avocado, Watercress and Crème Fraiche, Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Ravioli in Sage Butter, Spatchcock Poussin Aioli. For dinner you can have Pork Terrine Toast and Red Onion Chutney as a starter, “Gorgonzola and Walnut Ravioloni in Sage Butter and Rocket” or “Duck Confit Pickled Cabbage & Beetroot Walnut and Parsley Pesto” for dinner. Other than that, The Avalon can also be a specific term inside the online game Seafight.

On the Avalon champagne list you will find Zonin Special Cuvee Prosecco Italy, Montressor Pinot Noir Rose Italy, Grand Dame Veuve Cliquot. They also have an extensive list of wine, which will go well with their wide variety of food selections. For dessert you can choose from puddings, like White Chocolate Hazelnut & Cointreau, pudding wines, port, American or Macchiato coffee, and teas. On a special note, The Avalon proudly supports The Kivuli Trust, which supports East African children with physical and mental disabilities by educating them and helping them to gain acceptance in mainstream African society.
